Experience Dr. Giarratano worked for five years as a Transportation Planning Specialist for the Missouri Department of Transportation as the State Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator. She earned four degrees in education and spent 20 years as a professional educator: twelve as a public school teacher, five as a building principal and three as a parochial school teacher. She and her husband have two young children who join them in many of their favorite sports, especially bicycling, running and snow skiing.
